I wonder what would happen if he put his hand over that carburetor when he’s trying to start it sometimes that’ll help them old carburetors start sucking better
A lot of times they wouldn’t start because the wire for the spark plug would come off of the coil you might have to pull the rubber boot off the end of it and clean it and push it back up in there make an adjustment with a screwdriver or a pair of needle nose pliers make sure that things get in the right contacts with the coil also those carburetors can get out of adjustment pretty easy overtime you have to readjust the screws in it make sure it’s getting gas
I have a 212 and right now I’m having issues when I back up it makes a noise almost kind of a squeak you almost get the idea it’s trying to lock up or hang up a little bit in reverse and when I plow snow or try and push driveway stone with it even just a little tiny bit the wheels will spin and lose traction I didn’t used to have that problem plowing snow I have the wheels chained and I have been able to push a whole Lotta snow with that in the past anyone know what could be causing this issue???
i am looking at the same tractor, with tiller and snow blower. around 1K, i would like to buy it for this winter, will this be ideal for a snow removal type of jobs? i would really appreciate your comments thanks.
wow dude you gonna burn the crap out of that starter. if you think main jet plugged, clean it first….you just threw then main needle in there, did you back off 2 turns as recommended???? are you a mechanic??

Did you ever try using WD-40 instead of starting fluid? It works well
I'm french, and I just owned one. Damn I love this tractor. Made In U.S.A, serial number 60741. From 1976, I have an old puppy there ! 😀
Don't get me wrong I'm happy you got your dream garage but I miss your old one could you possibly do a show from it
Meyer Manx is the best known Dune Buggy. Every other buggy is just a poor copy.
