in this chapter of the honda trail 90 l picked up last year, we get to fix up the gas tank with evaporust and boil the chain in oil to clean it, plus getting the rest of the bike into shape,
one mans junk is another mans treasure…

This is great. It’s really motivating me to get going on the 1970 trail 90 that I have that’s just been sitting for I got frustrated with it because I know there’s rust in the gas tank.
Just found one of these with a “free” sign on it down the street. It’s scrapped and real beat up, but this video is giving me courage to work on it!

Could you filter the sonic cleaner fluid, to enable you to use it for longer? Also the stuff you used in the fuel tanks.
I had s 61 VW truck, engine blew so I put a 95 horse Corvair engine in it with an adapter kit from J C Whitney, improved the gas mileage and power of course.
Has anyone used Pel Seal products for gas tanks. I'm told they work quite well. Never tried them

Future tip u can use plastic dip and coat the inside of gas tanks
