I didn't even think about the hole being in the wrong spot when I tubed my mower and sure enough the stem doesn't like the hole location. I've changed a thousand tubes but never tubed a tubeless tire. I kinda hate to drill a hole in the rim in case I want to replace the tires and go tubless again but I guess I can put in two valve stems lol.
Two comments for you. Deflate the tube as much as possible. Reinsert the shrader valve with tube collapsed. Next get some baby power / talc and liberally put as much as possible in the tire and wheel so that everything becomes bone dry. Then sprinkle a lot on the tube. Then it will go much easier and when you add air, the tube will 'unwind' itself inside the tire/wheel. This is a standard method on general aviation aircraft tires. There really is no other approved way. The remaining talc powder will continue to absorb moisture. Surefire way to get longevity out of the tire and the tube.
Why did you even take one side of the tire off? Bead was broken. Push the tire down stuff it in and put the stem on the hole blow it up lol… 5 seconds later ready to mount.
Darren I did 2 two wheeler tires with tubes in them and I'm telling you right now I wish that has seen this video before I did them. I did them backwards I know I did cuz I must have fought that tube to try and get it in there for 3 hours on each one. I was so mad. Thank you so much for the video man. That's awesome I know how to do it now and I will be looking for me some cheap screwdrivers to make spoons out of.
Thanks for taking your valuable time to show us โhow itโs doneโ ! Youโve been sharing your knowledge since you were ?10 yrs old. Just goes to show…..โthere are talkers, and there are doers!โ …….โthere are takers, and there are givers!โ You sir, are a doer, and a giver!
Yah that air stuck in the tubeless.. will mess you up. I put tube in, come back next day and found flat tire… remove tube and try again. this whole time.. it was just trapped air.

My valve stem not sealed in the hole in the wheel. Leaks air around the stem. Any suggestions?
You taken too long to change a tyre, to much fussing around & using the wrong tools to do it, why not get an expert to do it, pay to get it done.

The success we feel when applying knowledge from a You Tube video is gratifying. Thanks Mustie 1.

I've got to do this on my rear scooter tire this week end this vid helps and I hope it will work, we'll find out soon enough ๐
Very helpful video. I think I'm going to find someone that I can pay to do this for me.

Harbor freight has a good deal on long tire irons. I bought a set and like them
Love the screwdriver tire tools. Hope the tube didn't mind. And good to see the valve didn't shoot back inside when filled.
