been running out of room for my antique vw trucks so l purchased a 40 foot shipping container and had it dropped off in the back of the farm. the guy driving the truck sure knew what he was doing, and made it look easy.

The best thing about using shipping containers for storing expensive/precious cars is that they are mouse proof. That makes them priceless to me. A few years ago I killed all of the rattle snakes on my property so I didn't have to worry about my daughter playing outside. The result was a literal plague of mice. They ate my F-150 from the inside out. So bad I had to salvage it. It wasn't a particularly expensive truck, but precious to me. My trusty steed.
Thinking about this as well for car storage (old VW Vans as well) in Maine. Did you install the vent fan? How is the humidity/condensation now after a few years? Did everything work out? Pulling the trigger on this in a couple of months so hoping it is a good solution. Thanks for the great videos.

If you make a T with the 2/4s it will be 4 times stronger for jacking
How wide is the container. 10 feet
Look for a 9 ft tall box if possible; the extra headroom makes a big difference. Cut down shade trees and it will get toasty inside.
how much was the container & delivery?
You need to build a storage container castle like Andrew Camerata…. check out his channel…
You certainly have an incentive to watch your BMI with that setup… you'd never get out of the car if you got too big…
I’d use a 4×4 post for safety
I have a Geo Tracker so this would be a 4 car garage for me. A dehumidifier set at 50 would be a must to down humidity levels especially down here in Florida. I would maybe open the container on both ends to make a drive thru. From what I see in the video there is not much room for working on your vehicle, just keeping it out of the elements. It is something to consider instead of a carport or garage, it depends on how much a container costs.
Get a large bag of silicon to absorb wet air .
Easy fix remove on vertical wall either side and cover with tarp, container can breathe and no mold or rust issues
