we start off with getting the factory rims back on with the correct lug pattern. then get into the fact that the carb is running too lean and show how I fix it,

I'm wondering if anyone has "souped up" one of these 22 hp cushman boxer engines to 40 hp and use like the 1/2 VW engines for ultralight airplanes ? I have the Truckster/Vanster model and would like to know how to get some performance out of it ? Anybody? Little Help? ๐Ÿ˜Š

Do you have a carburetor number by chance? Or Amazon part number?
    Thanks

Awesome video on repairs. I am currently working on the carb on a 4 wheel type G truck. Any idea on where to get parts for the carb? It's a Keihin B70C. I got issues the previous owner broke off the plastic elbow connection at carburetor fuel inlet.

Great Video you must talk to your self which helps with the video, one of your rims you cut getting the old tire off might want to throw a weld bead on it and sand it smooth.

Take a break once in a while to clear your head.and yes use point cam lube , primer then paint on old rusty parts .Cushman use to make great scooters too that what I learn on .in the late fifties. I love this video .

,,,,and just imagine how good it would've run had he replaced the throttle shaft seals (and checked throttle shaft wear) after destroying the existing one while soaking in carb cleaner.

Mustie, I know I'm somewhat late. On asking you this
I have a 1978 cushman truckster with the same carburetor as your meter maid and im trying to find a rebuild kit or a carburetor. Any suggestions?

Why donโ€™t you sandblast those rusty parts as theyโ€™re taken off?

If my memory serves me right, the last time you used a needle scaler was when you work on your trailer in your earlier videos. Great to see it being used again in this video.

    Hey Mustie1,
Will you ever get back to the Cushman? It's your fault I now have FIVE of these things. One fully restored to show condition and others in the works. Lots of fun.
