I have only ever driven a ghia for ten minutes. I was so disappointed. Its lovely shape appears sporty, the extra width makes the stance look sporty to drive ….but its not. Same low power as my bug but carrying a bigger, heavier body. The back seat has less footroom than even a bug and less padding, truly terrible imo. Body panels are expensive, not bolt on fenders they need lead loading to finish and more expensive than bug parts….if you can find them!
NICE TROUBLE SHOOTING!!!!!!! Thank you for the New Year's Day vid. Hope your New Year is filled with joy and prosperity my friend. Until next time, later!!!!
You did a fine job on the Ghia, sorting out the wiring was a little confusing but in the end everything lit up,, I really enjoy your videos, so cool and calm ,but thats how things get done.. Stu from Canada……
Your comments are great! so funny… I like how you are so into the job and running the engine and letting it warm up while you keep the garage door closed… ever get light headed???
