I love the door panels they look awesome. I love the door handles also. Too bad you couldn't have put some of them hooks on each side to make the door handle flat that would really looked cool. I thought the way they put those belts together was amazing.
Door panels came out great… it's all looking great so is the seat, are you going to need snubbers for it over bumps? I'm thinking something soft for the high back area too! Looking good Bud.
Steam usually works better on fibers than room temp water. I'm in the same boat looking for a material to replace the door panels. VW used something more like chip board.

they have a plywood called wakey plywood it will bend very ez and very strong man. and lowes, home depot, ext. looking great
those coffee bags might make good seat covers
