That stupid transmission fitting has made me lose my mind. Jeep would love to sell me $170 lines, of course. And mine rusted near the fitting. What a bunch of thieves at the dealerships.
your going to have to take it back apart, then you should see what failed, I seem to remember having to fill two voids with sealent, but it may have been by the trans side, the gasket could be ok but again you will find out when you remove it,,,let us know how you make out,,
@STREAKER123 if you want to remove the piston/connecting rod assy you will need to pull off the cylinder head off the top of the motor, they need to come out through the top,,its a big job and you need to work real clean, good luck,

Why did you get involved with the bearing? I have a leak in the same spot and I'm assuming it's just the oil pan gasket. Am I wrong?
