my guess is you still have water going into your basement, and always will unless you take the deck back up and slope the ground away from the foundation, but, such is life.
You do some good work can't wait to see the finished deck. It will be strong enough to park a truck on, that is you can get past the potted plants lol.
I hear you… I did the yearly tree pruning in January. I started out merely cutting the low hangers first, then I noticed some of the dead branches I've been ignoring, next thing you know I was grabbing the ladder and climbing all over that sucker. The tree is as healthy looking and green as I've seen it look this early in the year, in forever… of course I'm still not 100% after doing that, I tweaked a couple of fingers and screwed my neck up in the process, but the tree looks good! LOL
That composite is nice. My front porch has it on it. Our last house we built a 10 x 26 front porch with the composite.
how many subs did you have back then when you could respond to all your comments? lol.. love vintage mustie haha
The decking is coming on great buddy. It all takes time but you'll get there bud. Great video
U could have attached a slightly slanted gutter to side of deck next house & sent the rain water out to your yard.
