The shadow may be worth$550, but the Cub is worth twice what you'll put into it…Cubs have kinda a cult following here in the U.S. and Japan, but really only the 50cc models, which are street legal international. At a decent auction, in running condition , no matter how much its been bastardised yet not altered is a solid $2000 if it's semi complete.
I love that motor. Would be perfect on a rubber dinghy.
Did you get the honda 50 running? My dad bought one that looks identical and I want to try to get it running for him. I have watched tons of your videos and I appreciate your process. The one im working on seems to have compression and bad fuel, has oil, ignition switch is there but no key. Even the old tires look nice just like yours. Any specific advice is much appreciated.

My brother had a Honda 50 back in the mid 60's that he used for a paper route. It was a great little bike and lots of fun.
Everything looks good wet, use some soap to clean it more.

hello mustie 1 the engine for that bike the honda 50 is originaly a push rod engine the other honda 50 ty is a cam chain model
