No Safety features? You PAID for this and HE"S not Bright? "Its fairly clean" CAUSE IT"S DANGEROUS TO RUN! This is a joke right as you keep laughing? This is Cool? My little brother got his hand caught in the auger and lost 2 fingers while trying to clean it out when we were kids. Kid's Plastic Toy got destroyed and this is FUNNY? Wait till a kid uses it and loses an appendage while using it no matter the reason he's using it ! … When you're sued, as it should be for being cutsy stupid we can say you got what you deserve. There is a reason they don't "make em like they use to"… SAFETY! What a waste of time… Crush it, if YOU Don't, it's ALL on you with this vid.
I think one of the reasons I like this channel is the stories that go along with things. I am on a kick right now where I am trying to see all the snowblower repair vlogs. My favorite one ? The one where you drive the VW bus up north from your parents house and it craps out in the snowstorm. I think Iโve watched that 3 times now. Great story.
Ok so this is years late but i got one just like that but the speed control lever is disconnected and i cant figure out where it was connected can you show how yours is set up if you didnt already turn it into a mini bike
As usual, late to the party.. Doing the same project only different. Picked up a Sears 6 hp snow blower with centrifugal clutch, 2 speed, H/L and reverse trans.. Got the gear case whittled down to fit betweenst the motor & back tire and hook up to the motor with output going to original jackshaft, then rear tire. Mini bike with reverse. Whooda thunk.. K
I am having issues getting fuel to the carb. The second chamber in the tank wont fill with fuel. If I pull start it many times it will fire and rev up and then die. I removed and cleaned the carb and it looked good. Can anyone help me?
i have one just like it and it started when i got it in the middle of the summer, then winter showed up, it didnt want to start. now no spark at all. so where are the points located at on it? maybe that is my issue.
Just picked up the exact same model for free yesterday, lil rougher than this one. Cleaned up the points, runs mint
Junked one of these, but saved the engine
Funny that it has the type of oil you need for summer use! Unless it is summer time and you live in the artic area of the planet.

Those numb skulls should just use electric power equipment so they donโt get into this mess

Nice old "no BS " snow blower.
1 pull cold start? Right….
Anyone know where I can get a key?
An old Briggs won't die if maintained. Mine is so durable. The Flo jet leaks at times but even that is all solid steel.
I'd take it apart and rebuild it.
