The plasma cutter makes short work of dismantling things. I have a small 120v China one that I love(maxes out at 3/16"). I would love to step up and get a bigger 220v one like you though.
it depends on the metal type, if its got paint and or rust, and what shape the tips in, kinda like mig welding, theres a broad window that it will work but a fine window where it will work well, l figure theres nothing below 15 amps, and any thing 3/8 or thicker will be at 50+
