my split window bus needed some new porta walls installed so I turned on the camera to show how l put them on. the wheels were still on the bus so it made it a little tricky. then we got together for a ride with some friends to a lighthouse in maine.
Is that a 2"? They look great!
Haven't seen or heard anything about Portawalls since my high school job at a used car lot. Waaaay back then, we put 1 1/2" – 2" Portawalls on about 1 out of five cars. They looked pretty decent, but the trend of raised white letter tires was slowly coming into vogue. I had no idea that they were on eBay and Amazon. Anyway, the large "whitewalls" on Lucy really look great!
We are new subscribers thanks to a viewer's comment on our first VW Bus video posted this week. I love this looks and am now excited to not have to buy white wall tires. Where did you get the porta walls from? Thanks for the great content!
Thats a nice old bus love it ๐
I kept waiting for that bar to slip while you were doing the front. Then we would see a new paint repair video!
Why not just buy white walls? Donโt have them in that size? Or is there a benefit to running these? I hate having to clean my white walls each summer as they yellow in during nh winter on my garage.
Ha never seen a fake white wall. I think Jonathan w has mentioned u a few times. Do u watch his stuff too
Anyone know what happened to vwdarrin?
have to say its a thong of beauty that bus
Are you still making vids. I canโt find anything newer than 5 months. I want send you something.
Mustie, I'm just curious. Do you know who it was that commissioned the design and building of "the people's car"?
wouldn't it be possile to spraypaint the sidewalls with plastidip or something?
Nice bench seat !
