Love the boating adventures, reminds me of Wisconsin and good times with family, we had a similar boat growing up, “nothing works” typical boating experience. Even if new and maintained still broken. Great channel, can we see some more lake adventures? Thanks again.
Mustie1 you ain't going to believe this. I actually had a guy who had about $5,000 worth of air conditioning stuff in the back of his pickup, He was on his way back to Iowa and a tornado microburst came through pulled all his ac stuff… which mind you was brand new in the box. it ripped it out of his truck, and through it all over the highway. He was trying to get it loaded up. I stopped in a torrential downpour and helped him load it all back into his pickup. I actually loaned the guy like $60 worth of straps. Gave him my phone number and address and everything to send the straps back to me. He never did. People are so amazing.
A mechanic rarely has time to work on his own things.
Selling 10c on a Dollar hmm I wounder why they went out of business : )
That returned gas can was the best thing I have seen in a while. There are good people out there still.
Love your VW bus. I was in one when challenger blew up in the 80s. RIP
It would be a lot cheaper to restore it back to its 1989 glory, then buy a new boat.

I remember building 19, they were better when they only had one store but we got a lot of "good stuff cheap" there.
Faith in humanity reset LOL
Always have a safety cable on the outboard. LOL. Or a tennis ball with a leader. So you can find it when it falls off. LOL
You area character. I’ve seen motors fall off transoms like that.
Without the drain plug in place, the fuel will not rise to allow the needle and seat to do it's job.
