That's too bad. I would never give up my 66 Coupe. Life circumstances have changed and I'm sure they will always but my Mustang stays. I have heard too many "I wish I never sold it/I wish I still had it stories" In my mind it is more practical/affordable than anything I could own because I can and have worked on every system in the car from bumper to bumper. So I can keep it on the road by replacing or repairing anything needed in my garage with simple tools and a few PBRs. Learned that over the 25 years I've owned it.
I once had a VW Jetta, bought new. It was my daily driver. I put 317K on it, and it was good, but started to nickle and dime me. Finally, I couldn't rely on it to get me to work. The day the rollback took it down my driveway, I just stood there, shocked, in disbelief. Cars, even those without longer term personal attachments, can get hooked to you.

Hope you got a good price for it. ๐
It's really sad when you have to let a car of it's history go.. i guess with her not starting was a hint begging you to keep her ๐
I couldn't have done it.
Man U should have got rid of a vw not the mustang that would have been nice to see u restore
I've driven my baby daily for 14 years now!! Oh how I dread that day n those selling ur baby feelings !!!
I think I like the dog better than the Mustang anyway. lol
I like how you went to the effort to check & repair vital systems before letting her go. Sign of respect.
Goodbye sweet little pony car!

Just had a car trailered off. Wasn't going to pass it's MOT test, damn that salt they slather on our roads!
