Thank you SO much for this video! I have 3 identical carts & 2 are leaking in the swivel. My father passed last summer & I’ve spent the past yr trying to fill his very big shoes in caring for the house, 10 acres, blackberries/fruit trees-as mom is no longer able. I can’t tell you how many seemingly small things like these leaks have made me appreciate how much he knew how to do & how much he did. Tasks that take me days to figure out, he would have fixed in mins. These hose carts have been so frustrating bc I haven’t been able to figure out how to take the swivel apart & hated to spend $200 a piece to replace. Dads workshop is filled w/thousands of parts for every repair imaginable but knowing how to repair, what parts to use etc has been time consuming. So I thank u today for helping me. I’m truly grateful.

Yeah, I’m glad you put this up. I would be happy to find an old one metal unit like the one you repaired. The plastic ones are made to be thrown away. I was on here to see if there are any videos that show how to repair them.

I just got one from Rural King and paid $69.99. 5/5/2020. This is the same one you have there from Ironton. I did not use the wheels and mounted mine to an outside wall. Saved the 4 wheels, axles, and handle. My instructions where in the trash, I did not use them, they are useless instructions. So far I'm very happy, went together easy and I saved Money and it is cheaper that the ones they sell that mount on the wall. The one you have is much heaver than the one I brought. The older ones are made better.

I have a wall mount hose reel with a similar connection. Just moved in and it drips. Quick run to the hardware store for a couple o-rings, no more drips!!
Hey, man thanks for the Video I got the same real for 5 bucks to and I hooked it all up attached it to my house it came with no wheels but it is leaking like a sieve same thing I guess the "O" rings THANKS MUCH!!
My hose reel is 15 years old lube o rings yearly…still original o rings..no leaks…owners manuel states silicone lube yearly..
