Reminds me of the Muskegon River in central Michigan around 1957. Dad bought a used Dundee plywood 14' runabout with a 30 hp Mercury motor. It would pull a water skier and was a hoot to play around with. Let that American flag fly free brother!

I love this video. I love that boat. And I love watching the Must-Master do his thing. Always great, fun vids. Bu that Baracuda and Johnson 35…… Wow! Just pure American awesomeness. I'm glad to see it alive and well.

Mustie, I just found this older video and I am loving it. Old school wood runabouts. My grandfather was a carpenter. He built a boat similar from a book with boat plans in the early 50's. Solid Mahogany and brass screws. Had a 16 horse Mercury outboard and cables for steering from the wheel up front. It was a 14' about like the Chris Craft Barracuda you show in this video. Spar varnish, caulk replaced every year in the joints, white caulk and natural Mahogany finish, green bottom with a red line between the green and natural wood.
