Great tip on only removing certain bolts from the AC compressor. The only compressor bolts that are involved go through and into the fan bracket. Aside from that the compressor can stay where it is. What makes this a great tip is that the AC line and fitting block one of the bolts allowing only a open end wrench to fit. And as we know tight bolts + open end wrench = many tears
You will notice……….. the cam gears have a dot and a "t" on the gears… always align the marks with the t it will prevent the cam from rolling and smacking a valve to a piston. Also do front seal and cam seals while your I'm there… 😉
Silent movies? I got no sound at all. This would be valuable to me, since I need to do the same to get rid of an oil leak on my 1989 Toyota 4×4 pickup. Not sure if it is the same motor, but would be similar at least.
I just had this done on my 2005 4 runner 4 v8. Yeah, those manuals are horrible. This is a tough job, I just didn't have the time to do it.
That's a very ambitious project right there. That would do me in for a week with my back.
How to u set the timing on the lines? And at 0 degrees?
Thanks.

Ever though about becoming a Jay Leno impersonator?
