I just leave it in the sprayer for easy touch ups! Bought a used RAV4 for the Mrs. Boy did it need Fluid Film! I use it as a tire shine too, good for leather!
I just came across this old video. I've used fluid film along with pb blaster as my penetrating oils of choice for years. I bought the bulk ff and mixed 50/50 with transmission fluid and applied with oil squeeze can to get fasteners out of a 1928 model a body. But 80 a can cdn has me buying just small can now when on sale and princessauto had pb blaster cheap so I stocked up on it.
Hey man I have a 4Runner as well I just bought I have heard great things about fluid film and may go ahead and apply it myself to bring down costs and since it doesn’t seem like a hard job. Any additional tools that you need to do the job I don’t have any equipment but plan on buying the kit off of amazon. Also did you apply it yourself? I don’t have a lift so what do you recommend doing or possibly buying to lift the car up and be able to get in there. Did you brush down the rust with a Erie brush before applying?
i take all my cars to Krown rust proofing. They spray everything. We had a Neon and it took ten years for the leading edge of the hood to rust out. Neons were nortorious for rusting out in 4 years. I was convinced. After ten years I went under and changed the shocks and the bolts nuts came off the bolts with no problems what so ever.
Mike Sanders anti corrosion is the best if your looking for a more permanant solution for 4 -7 years . I found the fluid film good in sealed box sections but washes off on underbody. Fairplay for preserving your cars👍
Good stuff
Fluid Film is awesome, it’s even more awesome that they make it in black now!

Looks like somthing from some blown head gasket action. 😂
Delicious!
Huge part of saving your vehicle from rust are plastic fender liners, I know, I learned that the hard way, does a lot to contain salty slush.

We pay $80 a gallon in Canada …seems fair eh

If you live in rust belt do you still rinse the underside or will this remove the fluid film?
That stuff looks crazy. That's pretty neat. Live in Kansas got a bad problem with salt.
