Great job on the dog legs must be one. That is so difficult when guys do a crappy job well done something together and then let it sit outside. Cuz it's so much grief for us guys the come after them to repair it right. Looks great man!
Grind those welds my brother! Make it look like it is just one piece of metal not two welded together hahaha! Nice clean smooth weld is the way to go on any car repair, just saying, LOVE YOUR VIDE'S MAN! YOU ARE VERY GOOD AT WHAT YOU DO!
These things were notorious for their lack of proper rust treatment from the factory, also they were never intended to last this many years in service… then again the nasty relative humidity of the east coast/Atlantic seaboard do not help it either; planned obsolescence VW style, Good work and tenacity, my compliments!
Mustie1, Was that Udizzy on the back of the firetruck??? Nice job cleaning up the job someone did before U… Some seam seal and paint, one will have a factory perfect job! Thanks for posting!!!!

Splice in a split back window, that would be cool. I love this stuff!
what about a spot sand blaster I know mine works pretty good for that kind of stuff
