diesels usually need a good bleeding when sitting for many years. seeing they dont have ethanol the fuel stays good for many years.. also 2 different licence plates o.O!

Great stuff, I have never heard what the early Perkins engined examples sounds like. It's familiar as quite a few contemporary vans in the UK were fitted with something similar.

Later ones had a 6 cylinder VW/MAN diesel that was fruity, but still had bugger all power, this shares many components under the skin to the Mercedes 2/3 series vans of the same era
