That's sacrilegious having a GM product being towed by a Toyota. That's just not right in so many ways. That's like letting your 400 lb buddy give your hundred 30 lb girlfriend a ride on his Harley. Think about it. Picture in your mind it's just wrong in so many ways.
Replacement heads AMC, Phosphate free antifreeze, electric bonding jumper wire from head to case to head, best option is to install a Subaru H6 engine complete adapter kit / parts available from Rocky Mountain Westy in Ft, Collins, Co. good luck…kdfvwman
The front of the van needs to be raised higher than the motor to bleed the coolant system correctly. The temp sensors are in the thermostat housing, I just had a bad new sensor installed in my Westy that I switched out for the old one.
