a friend had asked me if l would help him see if we can get his 1979 porsche 911 targa running after being in a salt water flood. his father inlaw gave it to him and all he had to do was go get it a thousand miles away..it had some run issues with running before the flood too. but he drained the drive train changed fluids several times and put a new starter in it.
the poor car has had a rough couple of months and not sure if we are helping with the comedy of errors we put it through. .this is part 2 and we get to take it out on the road for a shake down run.

The heat is drying everything out
The lone connector will get 'cha every time. In the event you ever need make-shift spark/backfire arrestor, non-treated brillo pads (like a stainless or copper scrub pad) works really effectively, so long as there's not a path of egress for wherever its going.
I keep wanting to scream “the e brake is still on!”
In the previous video, was he trying to pump gear oil into the transaxle directly from the bottle? It’s way easier to use a small fluid pump that spins onto the top of the bottle.
Two men and a car
Park it!! The clocks not working!!😁
That would have been one ticked off paratrooper if he found out his only problem pre-flood, was an improperly installed deformed air intake cover!
The important thing is that the clock works!
I have a 1972 1.7 914 do you think you could help me with it?
