an old friend had this cheap gen set that sat for a long time with fuel left in the machine. well that caused the float in the carb to fail. then the gas filled up the crank case causing the rings to get varnished to the cylinder wall seizing the engine. lets see what it will take to fix this.
Thanks for the great video!
Were you holding the air cleaner foam close to the camera so we could smell it? You didnโt have the smell app turned on.
Check those rpmโs. Sounds like itโs running high
Full trodel
If it's a Mustie1 vid you can almost bet the rent a carb is gonna get a new lease on life rebuild by Darren.
In fact, I'm almost kinda disappointed when he works on an engine and he doesn't tear into a carb.
The ultrasonic cleaners are some nice huh
Are propane motors subject to the same carburetor issues if not kept in service over extended time?
tanks are 39$
Hey Mustie, I didn't know you were religious? That it quite the "holey" shirt
Sounds like vacuum leak until you put the air cleaner on
It looks like youโre wearing one of my T-shirts LOL
Mines one year old and hops too…???
Automatically burnish that low speed jet with a #78 drill bit and pin vise. No idle circuit…..
What's with all the bullet holes in your shirt?
um wouldn't it have been much easier to just undo the studs on the carby.. lol played this game more times than i could count i make a living doing much the same as you mostly repairing/restoring machinery but il learn how/teach myself how to fix pretty much anthing that interests me as long as theres a few $ in it. New challenges are always fun. Awesome work though mate its interesting watching ou tackle and solve all the issues sometimes its almost as if im watching myself i can relate directly from my own experiences to most of your vids right ddown to the hoarding lol hey its only hording to others until they need something and bam there it is stashed away and coming in handy just as yo thought it would lol
Oops, your Volkswagen porn is showing…:)
